Ormoc City Police Office,
September 16, 2013 -

In effort to reach out widest dissemination of police activities, programs and receive public opinions, commentaries and feedback, Ormoc City Police Office (OCPO) director PSSUPT. ELIZAR PATANO EGLOSO directed Police Community Relations (PCR) chief PSUPT. MA. ELMA BARITUA DELOS SANTOS to launch radio program that will highlight and profile Ormoc City Police office.

Immediately PSUPT DELOS SANTOS succeeded to arrange the radio program Katambayayong Sa Kalinaw with DYAJ Power 90.3 FM giving Ormoc City Police Office airtime, Saturdays 8:30 to 9:00 o’clock in the morning.

The program started last week September 6 with PSUPT. NEIL MONTAÑO went on board the first time along PCR personnel Gotham Wayne, who anchors the program.

This weekend Ormoc City Police Station 1 chief PCI IBRAHIM JAMBIRAN was radio guest, who discussed “No Plate No Travel Policy” encouraging motorists, drivers and commuters to secure their registration and licenses at checkpoints that police will establish and place at random inside and outside the City close to the border.

PCINSP JAMBIRAN asked public cooperation and calm on the road where checkpoints are established, and plainly answer routine question when asked patiently.

Checkpoints are plain view inspections and will not inconvenience commuters. Their simple cooperation and responses with authorities will not hinder their travel. They will be immediately dismissed as soon as they are cleared in view of police authorities, said PCInsp Jambiran.

Finally, the program concluded with PCINSP JAMBIRAN expressing gratitude to listeners and DYAJ Power 90.3 FM in accompanying the voice of OCPO in the radio program and in representing OCPO director PSSUPT ELIZAR PATANO EGLOSO wishing the radio station more power and the people of Ormoc City greater support to continue to tune in to DYAJ Power 90.3 FM the strong word broadcast network in the City.
