26  General / Politics, News and Current Events / OCPO HOLDS REGULAR WEDNESDAY MASS on: October 02, 2013, 01:16:44 am

Ormoc City Police Office, September 30, 2013 - Every Wednesday Ormoc City Police Office personnel hear mass to listen to the Word of God and celebrate the holy Eucharist.

This week the Eucharistic celebration was presided by Fr. Kim Margallo, who exhorted personnel to be likened to Christ’s disciple. A disciple he emphasized is like one undergoing training from a teacher, master or training officer. Like one undergoing training in traffic control, investigation, and patrol a disciple is prepared by his commanding officer. Afterwards, he is sent and assigned to enforce the law and he is likened to an apostle, he said. He is charged to carry out the law, manage, instruct, teach and guard the instruction, statute and precept like an apostle-a leader.

For values, Fr. Kim particularly distinguished following Christ in the context of the gospel of the day of discipleship and following which entails the leaving behind world affairs and attachment and defending and celebrating life.

He said, there is a distinction between “need” and “want” in the stewardship of things and the value that is in the gospels. One can do away with “want” like things: expensive IPod for instance. But one would be in dire “need” to live like food.

Over 20 available personnel were present led by representative of Ormoc City Police Office director PSSUPT. ELIZAR PATANO EGLOSO: deputy city director for administration Police Superintendent Anastacio Esperas Agullo, along Police Community Relations chief Police Superintendent Ma. Elma Baritua Delos Santos, staff officers: PSINSP ARVIE TRAZO, and crime laboratory office.

The mass every week has mass sponsors which have been routing around line units attached to the Ormoc City Police Office. Their cooperation to the Office spiritual upliftment and organizational mandate to provide personnel spirituality with God, PSSUPT EGLOSO expresses his grateful gratitude to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) which sponsored this weeks’ Eucharistic mass.

The Eucharistic celebration is lively assisted by the church group led apostolate of the St. Peter and Paul Parish, Ormoc City, Mother Butlers, the Couples for Christ and Legionaries. They lead the mass singing and the preparatory para-liturgical mass preparation and novena prayers to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Wednesday September 25, 2013

depende sis, but if you are really into this software thing. Photoshop is good. I sometimes use photoshop elements for easy modifications. But if you are into shooting pictures and editing it. You can also try photoshop lightroom.

If you are not into photoshop or this sorts of things. There are a lot of softwares out there in the internet. Many of them are free. Before I used Google Picasa. It's free and have some decent effects and features on it.
